Timothy Monger State Park (by Nick Azzaro)
Timothy Monger + Carol Catherine (by Doug Coombe)
“… as he always manages to do, he finds fresh perspectives and new approaches, and the result stands out from his previous body of work.” - Pulp (Interview)
“… a 12-song tapestry that is altogether reflective and rallying, and just a little bit weird in the best ways, with its sweetly spooky ambient flourishes and Monger’s chosen amalgam of instruments that are typically disparate from the indie-rock genre.” - WDET-FM
“Timothy Monger's fourth album is a refined play of shades of color, of sounds, of chords as simple as they are evocative, one of those records to keep for pleasant autumn evenings, a collection of songs that exude passion for composition and love for the detail.” - Ondarock (Italy)
“Gorgeous, unpredictable and delicately beautiful.” - Listen With Monger (U.K.)
“Knight Errand continues Monger's mastery of '60s-influenced indie-rock songs with layered production and smart arrangements.” - Pulp
“… its lush chamber-pop arrangements and general air of yearning feel readymade for a sunset drive sometime in late August/early September.” - AV Club
“The album bubbles over with delicately orchestrated pop songs and "harmony-forward" vocals, with folk instrumentation center stage.” - Metro Times
